There’s always time for take 5

Take 5 asked us for an evolved brand position, tagline, and launch campaign to help drive awareness that Take 5 Oil Change is a superior, hassle-free oil change service that puts drivers in control.

Our approach was unorthodox for the cliché-heavy, product-focused oil change sector. Instead of using everyday life situations to illustrate the emotional benefit of Take 5 oil change’s calm and easy efficiency, we focused on the most extreme examples, where you’d never expect people to act on that “change oil soon” popup message on their dashboard.

With oil change service that is so fast, hassle-free, and convenient, no matter where you’re going or what you’re doing…there’s always time for an oil change. And that was our creative concept, punctuated by our new brand tagline that introduced a new straight talking, hassle-free brand tone and voice, “Drive in. Sit back. Done.” Keeping with their retro logo, we added a little retro jingle to finish it off.
